Reflejos A Tango Dance Theatre

Tango is expression of various ways of coming together. In this piece it is not only two women that meet but also two forms of dance expression. The idea was born from the thought of combining Tango and modern dance to create a new form, a form to bring them closer to one another, a way of finding a complimentary expression of movement. The Tango as a traditional duet is in this piece altered, becoming more a reflection of Tango, mixed with flashes of recognised and more surreal dance images, in which the theme of meeting is handled in another way.
